The handle is made of G10 which is an extremely durable assemblage of fiberglass layers soaked in resin, then highly compressed and baked. This makes for a handle impervious to moisture or liquid and affords extreme physical stability under rapidly shifting climate conditions. Included is a leather sheath with a built-in sharpener as well, providing a secure and convenient storage and field-sharpening solution.
