Also equipped with our X45 Technology, these rods are designed using a 45 degree bias construction that prevents twisting of the blank for greater strength, sensitivity and hook setting power. In contrast to standard carbon rods, which have a higher resin content in the space between the carbon fibers, our HVF (High Volume Fiber) rods such as these are made of a carbon fiber compound with less resin. By reducing the amount of resin in the blank, the rods are lighter and more sensitive. Adding to the list of high end technologies, the Rebellion rods feature our Air Sensor reel seat. This reel seat is built using a carbon fiber material to maximize sensitivity and power, while reducing overall weight.
